APDRA intervened for the first time in the Republic of Congo and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) in 2010 and 2011, at the request of the Center for the Development of Enterprise (CDE), in order to provide technical assistance to a selection of small entrepreneurial farms.Since March 2016, the APDRA intervenes again in the Republic of Congo within the framework of the "Project of reinforcement of the capacities of the actors of the piscicultural sector in the Republic of Congo" (RECAFIP), financed by the European Union and the Agence Française de Développement.
To carry out its action, APDRA works in partnership with the Congolese association Forum pour la Promotion des Groupes Ruraux (FPGR).
